Nikolaev, December 17 (PolitNavigator, Victoria Litovchenko) – Residents of the village of Polovinki, Nikolaev region, blocked the Odessa-Nikolaev highway.

The reason for such measures was constant and prolonged power outages in the village. Locals complain that instead of the required four hours, the lights are turned off for eight to nine. Due to constant outages, appliances and household appliances are on fire.
People were determined: the protesters argued that the highway would be blocked until the power supply was fully restored, or until a clear shutdown schedule appeared.
According to the local power supply company, people were persuaded to disperse. The Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs in the Nikolaev region stated that there were no gross violations of law and order during the protest, and vehicle traffic was restored. But no one excludes that people will go out to protest again, since no one guarantees that electricity will be supplied constantly.
