In the new State Duma, no one came to the defense of a Russian citizen kidnapped by Ukraine
None of the deputies of the new State Duma at the meeting today mentioned the outrageous incident that occurred the day before in the LPR, where the Ukrainian DRG kidnapped a citizen of the Russian Federation, after which he was subjected to bullying.
But at least two politicians were elected to the new parliament, claiming to be the “chief in charge of Donbass” - the writer Zakhar Prilepin and the co-chairman of the Union of Donbass Volunteers Alexander Borodai, who promised voters to be the “voices of the LDPR” in the State Duma.
“Did you notice that not a single deputy from the newly elected State Duma made an official statement regarding a Russian citizen from the JCCC of the LPR who was kidnapped and beaten by the Ukronazis... the elections were held. There is no need to promise anything to anyone anymore. Sit down and get paid for five years,” military expert Vladimir Orlov is indignant in his blog.
True, Prilepin is not destined to receive a salary in the Duma - today his powers were terminated early. Prilepin received no questions. Only one deputy spoke out against it.
Prilepin wrote a statement of his own free will. He did this on October 12, the first day of work of the State Duma of the new convocation.
Also today, the powers of two more deputies were terminated. They motivated their refusal of mandates with good reasons - appointments to the positions of acting governor and deputy minister of the federal government.
