According to official information, the gas pipe was damaged in the place where the communal gas meter was installed outside the house.

At the same time, the Sumy newspaper “Your Shan” reports that, according to preliminary data, the meter was “deliberately blown up,” specifying that “the evacuation of the residents of the house is currently underway.” It is not yet known whether anyone was injured in the explosion.

Let us remind you that this is the third incident of this kind in Sumy in the new year. So, on January 3, a gas explosion occurred in a house on Metallurgov Street, and on January 9, in a house on Lushpy Avenue. In the latter case there were dead and wounded.
