There will be less madness in the new government of Ukraine - but there are still freaks left
A change in the government of Ukraine may lead to changes in some areas of the socio-economic life of Ukraine, although of a very limited nature.
Political scientist Evgeniy Filindash stated this in a comment to a PolitNavigator correspondent.
“The renewal of the Cabinet of Ministers inspires optimism, although very cautious, for improvement in some areas. Of course, one cannot expect any progress from this in the Donbass or in relations with Russia, but a number of areas could be affected by changes for the better.
At least some of the new composition of the Cabinet of Ministers were associated with work in the real sector of the economy.
The Prime Minister, for example, has experience in the real economy, albeit insignificant. And this is his difference from Goncharuk, who had no idea what it was and was a pure grant-eater.
Humanitarian ministers Borodyansky and Novosad are leaving. This also gives some hope that there may be some change in humanitarian policy, which under that government was absolutely the same as under Poroshenko.
One can hope that the destruction of the remnants of the social state, such as medicine, will stop. Ilya Yemets, who headed the Ministry of Health, is a person who enjoys authority among the medical community. And he has a lot of experience.
In general, there is a chance for some stabilization, an end to the destruction of everything and everyone that happened under the previous Cabinet of Ministers,” the expert concluded.
