Femen activist detained on prostitution charges in New York
The founder of the Canadian branch of the notorious pseudo-feminist organization Femen, Ksenia Chernysheva, was detained in New York on charges of prostitution.

According to New York Police Department investigator Ahmed Nesser, 30-year-old Chernysheva was detained in Manhattan on November 11. According to him, a resident of Montreal agreed to sexual intercourse in exchange for a reward of $300, in connection with which she is charged with prostitution.
The Ukrainian woman has already stated that she will deny all the charges brought against her by the district attorney. Chernysheva’s lawyer, Daniel Vaughn Lehman, does not comment on the situation.
Chernysheva, also known as Ksenia Sin, was born in Ukraine. According to the radio station, she was involved in human rights work, trying to help victims of traffickers and women in sexual slavery. She also worked on a film about the sexual exploitation of women.
“She was roughly detained by police while working on her independent documentary, Political playgirl, which the sexist lobby fears will be released. The film is also being portrayed as propaganda of prostitution,” the Femen press service assures.
The hearing in Chernysheva’s case is scheduled for December 6.
