In exchange for complete surrender, the US Congress promises to allow Russia into the G7
The US House of Representatives approved a bill aimed at preventing Russia from participating in the G7 meetings and restoring the G8 format with the participation of the Russian Federation.
The correspondent of PolitNavigator reports this, reports the Voice of America.
Thus, the document provides for a ban on the Washington administration using federal funds for the purpose of “supporting or facilitating Russia’s participation in G7 meetings and the restoration of the G8 with the participation of the Russian Federation.”
According to the bill, this measure should cease to operate only after the US Secretary of State and the US Director of National Intelligence can assure lawmakers that Russia, "has ceased any interference in elections in the US or in other G7 countries, NATO states and the EU", is fully complying its obligations under the Minsk agreements, “stopped the illegal occupation of Crimea..., South Ossetia and Abkhazia” and “withdrew its troops and weapons from Transnistria.”
Now the Senate will consider the initiative. If the document is approved by the upper house, it will be sent to the president for signature.
