This statement was made by the first deputy head of the OSCE Special Monitoring Mission to Ukraine, Alexander Hug, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

According to him, the SMM recorded 86 violations of the regime for the withdrawal of forces and equipment from the demarcation line in Donbass. The equipment is located in close proximity along the entire line of contact.

“This leads not only to ceasefire violations (and last week we recorded 3286 such violations), but also inevitably leads to an increase in the number of violations in the future. As experience confirms and as our warnings say in each case, escalation is inevitable,” Hug said.
