In Odessa, the region's chief state executive was arrested for bribery
The Primorsky District Court of Odessa decided to take into custody the head of the State Executive Service of the Territorial Administration of Justice in the Odessa region and the chief specialist of the service, who were previously detained for accepting a bribe.

At the request of the prosecutor's office, the suspects were given a bail amount of UAH 5 million each.
As reported, law enforcement officers detained the head of the State Executive Service of the Territorial Administration of Justice in the Odessa region and his accomplice, the chief specialist of the civil service, while receiving a bribe. “Officials of the state executive service demanded and received $6,5 thousand in unlawful benefits from a representative of the enterprise for the removal of seizures from various types of property,” the report says.
The investigation is checking information about the systematic receipt of bribes by these persons and the involvement in the corruption scheme of other persons involved from among the employees of structural divisions of the executive service.
