Its goal will be propaganda against the war, the politician writes on his blog on the Duma website.
“For the sake of peace in our common home, we will have to make an effort on ourselves and, at least for a while, put aside past grievances and showdowns, put aside political preferences and contemptuous nicknames, our flags and slogans. Our goal is one – to stop the war!” the message says.
“We see the emerging Anti-War Movement of Ukraine as self-organizing, networked and non-hierarchical, without commanders and bosses. Any citizens of good will who support the principles of our movement in any corner of Ukraine can create their own initiative and promote it in their community. If your initiative is not yet gaining supporters to hold rallies and marches, do not sit idly by, distribute Lithuanians, write graffiti,” says Azarov.
Let us note that not so long ago another prominent Odessa resident, people’s deputy and Sergei Tigipko’s closest ally, Svetlana Fabrikant, also came forward with anti-war initiatives.
