Odessa, May 09 (Navigator, Artemy Glazunov) – The national flags of Ukraine were absent during the official ceremonial part of the Victory Day celebration.

According to a Navigator correspondent, the meeting was attended by Governor Igor Palitsa, appointed by the Kyiv authorities, acting mayor Oleg Bryndak, Verkhovna Rada deputies Gennady Trukhanov and Svetlana Fabrikant, as well as other leaders of the city and region.
Let us note that during the celebrations there were no Ukrainian flags, only copies of the Victory Banner. A number of officials put on St. George's ribbons.
As Navigator reported, today in Donetsk state flags were also not used during official events.
