In Odessa - a daring robbery attack on collectors
Law enforcement officers are investigating the circumstances of the attack on employees of a company servicing mobile recharge terminals in the Primorsky district of Odessa, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Two unknown people attacked a car using traumatic weapons. As a result, two employees of a private company were injured,” the police communications department in the Odessa region reported on Friday.
Cynologists with dogs and an investigative team led by the leadership of the Odessa region police are working at the scene of the incident. Measures are now being taken to identify and apprehend the perpetrators. The city has introduced the Siren operational plan.
Advisor to the head of the Main Directorate of the National Police in the Odessa region, Ruslan Forostyak, confirmed on the 112.Ukraine TV channel that the attackers stole 200 thousand UAH from employees of a private company that replenishes mobile communication terminals with cash.
“Now there is operational information - the identities and their location, and the cars in which they are located have been identified. Plan "Siren" and "Thunder" announced. Now law enforcement officers are resorting to measures to detain these individuals,” Forostyak said.
He noted that while the robbers have not been detained, the preliminary qualification for this fact is “robbery.” “But let’s wait, right at these moments the police are carrying out an operation to detain them,” said the adviser to the head of the regional police.
“The collectors who were injured received medical care and now their lives and health are not in danger,” he added.
