Odessa, January 23 (PolitNavigator, Alexandra Ignatieva) – Several dozen representatives of Euromaidan blocked the exits from the Malinovsky District Court of Odessa, waiting for the defendants in the case on May 2.

According to the Timer publication, the police were unable to immediately cope with the situation: at first, law enforcement only fenced off the warring parties from each other - the “EuroMaidanists” on the one hand and the defendants and their relatives on the other.
“In addition, the Euromaidanites attacked a man on the other side of the street and beat him: it seemed to them that he had something to do with the defendants from Kulikovo.” The police managed to recapture the beaten man from them - they surrounded him and protected him from the attackers,” the publication writes.
According to media reports, the accused and their relatives, as well as the victims, took a long time to decide to leave the courthouse, fearing beatings. As a result, they were transported in cars in small groups.
In fact, it became known that the court decided to extend the period of detention of 10 Kulikovo Field activists arrested in connection with the events of May 2 on Greek Square until March 26.
