As the Timer reports, citing the children of the victims, the elderly people - both born in 1941 - were driving a Ford Fiesta. They were cut off by a Jaguar X-Type with Polish license plates. He hit the right side of the Ford's rear bumper. As a result of the impact, Jaguar was carried to the middle of the block - no less than 27 meters. And the Ford was thrown into a snowdrift.
According to the daughter of the victims, who immediately arrived at the scene of the accident, the nature of the damage to the cars indicates that the Jaguar was driving at a speed of at least 120 km/h.
“Witnesses say that after the collision, two men aged about 33 and 40 got out of the Jaguar (they later did not have documents for the car). They were very drunk—you could smell the fumes—and insane. They pulled the driver out of the car and beat him, demanding that he admit his guilt in the accident,” the publication writes.
The woman was sitting in the back seat of the car and was very injured. Her daughter said that the woman was hospitalized in intensive care with diagnoses: traumatic brain injury, a cracked first cervical vertebra, broken ribs, numerous bruises of the lungs and internal organs, a closed fracture of the knee with numerous displacements. She had knee surgery and was recently transferred to surgery. Her husband has a severe kidney injury, a head injury and a broken face. He is also in hospital.
In addition, after beating the driver, one of the men urinated on the driver's seat. According to witnesses, they “rushed at people, shouted that they would buy everything, that they were the masters of life, and swore.”
