The press service of the Ukrainian Navy reported this on its Facebook page.
As planned, 78 freshmen (10th grade) and 22 sophomores (11th grade) will sit at their desks. According to the head of the lyceum, captain 1st rank Igor Kolezhnyuk, the lyceum has been provided with a building, the premises are in satisfactory condition. Now the acceptance of documents from applicants continues, the pace of their receipt is approximately the same as a year ago, when the lyceum functioned in Sevastopol. Providing the institution with all the necessary property and funds from the military department is planned, at the same time, the lyceum also hopes for charitable assistance.
“About 70% of the teaching staff of the lyceum came with us from Sevastopol to Odessa, this also adds optimism and confidence to us,” noted Igor Kolezhnyuk.
Let us recall that the mentioned lyceum was opened in Sevastopol on the territory of the Nakhimov School as a “forge of Ukrainian patriots” in 2009 on the initiative of the Kyiv authorities. The institution gained scandalous fame due to the placement in its educational building of a banner with Bandera’s greeting “Glory to Ukraine - glory to the heroes!”
