Activists of the Kulikov Field, who opposed the Maidan protesters on May 2, 2014 in Odessa, did not encroach on the territorial integrity of Ukraine.

Ukrainian political scientist Andrei Mishin stated this on TV channel 112, assessing the court decision in Chernomorsk (Ilyichevsk), which did not establish the guilt of the Kulikov Field activists during the events of May 2, 2014, which preceded the extermination of people in the Odessa House of Trade Unions.
He drew attention to the fact that during the clashes in the center of Odessa, the Kulikovo residents were opposed by Maidan activists, equipped and armed with at least batons, and not by peaceful people.
“In such political conflicts, everything must end in consensus. Therefore, the court's decision is quite clear. Of course, common sense began to win, albeit after three years. The second charge of attack on territorial integrity - what could they have done on May 2? They didn’t seem to shout Russian Spring there. This is not Crimea. It seems to me that this is still a highly politically biased matter,” Mishin believes.
