People chanted “Odessa is a hero city,” “We will not forget, we will not forgive,” “Fascism will not pass.”

Flowers were brought to the House of Trade Unions, as the day before, and the Victory Banner was installed above the building.

According to eyewitnesses, the new head of the regional police department, Ivan Katerynchuk, came to those gathered on Kulikovo Field. However, those gathered perceived his appearance negatively and booed. Katerynchuk left amid shouts of “Shame.”

Tomorrow, Odessa residents are again gathering for a funeral meeting, as it marks 9 days since the tragic events of May 2.
