A Navigator correspondent reports this.
Residents of Odessa launched 48 white doves into the sky—that’s how many protesters died during the massacre. According to the organizers, the doves symbolize the souls of the dead. Also, black balls were launched into the sky, there were also 48 of them. Subsequently, a memorial dinner was held right on Kulikovo Field.
Let us note that shortly before the start of the action, the entrances to Kulikovo Field were blocked by police and athletic people, presumably Euromaidan activists. They checked the personal belongings of Odessa residents without explanation and at first refused to allow activists with St. George ribbons to enter the event.
Let us recall, as Navigator reported, the entrance to Kulikovo Field was previously closed with concrete barriers.
