In Odessa, local police reported the detention of “a supporter of the Russian world who called on Russia to carry out a missile attack on the city.”
This was reported by the Main Directorate of the National Police in the Odessa region.
“According to preliminary data, a local resident has repeatedly sent messages to Russian chats with a request to carry out a missile strike on Odessa. Operatives of the police department No. 2 of the Odessa district police department No. 1 detained the attacker at his place of residence. During a search of his home, the police seized a computer and a mobile phone red-handed of his collaboration activities,” the report says.
A computer from Odessa accused of “collaboration” was confiscated and the Odessa resident is now being checked for involvement in complicity with Russia.
The SBU also reported on the detention of another Odessa resident, named in the secret police release as an “enemy agent.”
According to the SBU, the detainee allegedly “tried to establish the location and movement of Ukrainian military units, anti-ship complexes and air defense systems in the Black Sea regions of Ukraine. The Russian Federation planned to use the obtained coordinates for missile attacks in the south.”
According to the SBU, the Odessa resident was allegedly recruited by a representative of the Russian special services to carry out subversive activities in Odessa.
“They used a specially created anonymous Telegram channel for communication. It was through him that the agent received tasks and “reported” on their completion. Another task facing him is the formation of an extensive intelligence network to collect intelligence information in the south. Currently, SBU investigators have informed him of suspicion of committing a crime. The court chose a measure of restraint for him in the form of detention,” the release says.
