Odessa, August 08 (Navigator, Artemy Glazunov) – In Odessa, supporters of the Development Party of Ukraine picketed the regional administration with demands to conduct an objective investigation into the tragic events of May 2 and punish the real culprits.

Several dozen young people held posters in their hands: “May 2 – Bloody Friday”, “We will not forget, we will not forgive”, “Where are the culprits?”, “Why is the government silent.”
“More than three months have passed since the tragedy, but the real culprits have not yet been found or convicted. The authorities are virtually inactive, doing only imitation of work in this direction. Odessa still does not know the truth about the bloody events,” says protest organizer Bogdan Giganov.
The meeting ended with the delivery of an appeal to the governor and the lighting of candles on the steps of the Regional State Administration building. After the end of the action, a small conflict arose with the police, who for a long time could not find out whether an application for its holding had been submitted to the City Council. However, after some time the situation was settled.

As Navigator reported, according to official data, 2 people died as a result of a fight and fire in the House of Trade Unions on May 48.
