There is such a “haunter” in Odessa as Sergiy Sternenko, who imagines himself to be the Kutuzov of Ukrainian nationalism. What he has in common with Kutuzov is the absence of one eye, and nothing else. That's why complexes are gushing out. Well, how can a couple live among boys? There is no money, women don’t give, they don’t take me to the ATO. We need victories and successes. But they are not there. So Sirozha began his personal war against quilted jackets and monuments.

So on Sunday evening, joyfully saying “Vata will have a heart attack in the morning,” Sternenko entered into battle with a stone. Really, with a stone. With a memorial sign to Marshal Zhukov, installed at the beginning of the avenue of the same name. And promising to get to the monument.

During the day, Sirozha was driven away by the police, but by nightfall he appeared with equipment and utility workers, which suggests that the initiative was not only his own, but also that of the city authorities.

That is, in fact, the city authorities helped the Nazis. Or the Nazis helped the city authorities. Because with a high degree of probability, in the end, for everything that happens, it is not the authorities who will pay with ratings, but Sirozha with a worthless life.

For non-Odessa residents, the situation needs to be clarified. Marshal Zhukov Avenue appeared on the map of Odessa as part of decommunization a quarter of a century ago. Odessa residents felt that Leninskaya Iskra Avenue was a name that was too banal and smacked of propaganda. Then it was decided to name the avenue after the Marshal of Victory and the commander of the Odessa Military District. Therefore, when today someone refers to the law on decommunization, Odessa residents raise their eyebrows in surprise, not understanding what this has to do with the national hero.

However, it is clear that the Nazis are irritated by the very fact of the existence of an avenue named after the one who defeated them.

Now about the monuments and memorial signs themselves. The popularity of Marshal Zhukov in Odessa is such that many parties and organizations competed for a long time for the right to establish at least something in honor of Georgy Konstantinovich. This is how the stone appeared, which was dismantled tonight. It was installed by the city organization of the Communist Party of Ukraine, which did not have enough money for more.

The second monument, which Sternenko threatened today, is located at the other end of the avenue. This is a bust and it was installed by one not poor deputy who was born, raised and lives in the neighborhood.

But this monument also has another story.

In the now ancient times, applicants appeared for the squares and land plots where the monuments were erected. That is, some oligarchs had the idea to build up green areas with commercial real estate. Naturally, such ideas did not evoke understanding among the population, although the necessary permits and papers were obtained from the local government offices.

It was easy to protect the park. A monument to Georgy Konstantinovich Zhukov was erected there. After which any claims for development began to smack of blasphemy, because a person who took aim at Zhukov would be easily cursed by the residents of Odessa. And, most likely, he will not live to see his own birthday.

In general, the oligarch developers had to give up before the face of the Great Commander.

And suddenly, unexpectedly, they had a chance. Stupid Nazis, like sheep, rushed to take responsibility for themselves, picking at holy pedestals. That is, do you understand what happens? Monuments will be demolished, squares will be built up, and the Nazis will be to blame. The Nazis will bear full responsibility for what they did.

And finally, I would like to address this idiot Sirozha in the voice of Zinovy Gerdt: “Sirozha, do you know the name of the uncle for whom you are now clearing land for development?”

His name is Vladimir Ilyich. No, he didn't die. He's not in the mausoleum.

And it doesn’t matter that this is another Vladimir Ilyich.

It’s just that when your brothers-in-arms find out that you helped Vladimir Ilyich, even if it was someone else, you can’t imagine what will happen to you.
