Odessa, May 05 (Navigator, Artemy Glazunov) – The governor of the Odessa region, Vladimir Nemirovsky, appointed by the Kyiv authorities, announced the creation of the so-called “territorial defense battalion” of 400 people.

Nemirovsky reported this on his page on the social network Facebook.
“The battalion is formed by the head of the General Staff of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine. It is managed directly by the Odessa Regional State Administration in my person,” notes the Kiev-appointed official.
“You must be a citizen of Ukraine and not have other passports. You must be between 18 and 55 years old. You must be in good physical shape. You must be a patriot of a united, indivisible Ukraine,” Nemirovsky said regarding the conditions for joining the battalion.
At the same time, the salary of such a unit is offered exorbitantly for the average salary in Ukraine. In particular, a private will receive 8 thousand UAH, a sergeant - from 10 thousand, an officer - from 15 thousand.
