“The press service of the People’s Rada of Bessarabia is authorized to declare that real terror has been unleashed against activists of the organization by the Ukrainian special services,” the news agency quotes the text of the statement "TIRAS".
“On the eve of the founding conference on April 1, members of the organizing committee, public figures Alik Vetrov, Sergei Zagoriuk, deputy of the Reni City Council Mikhail Levkin, as well as journalist Elena Glishchinskaya were unreasonably detained. They were subjected to hours of interrogation and intimidation.
On the morning of April 7, the chairman of the presidium of the NRB, Dmitry Zatuliveter, disappeared from contact. His search has so far been unsuccessful. There is information circulating that he was kidnapped by the special services,” the NRB said.
As PolitNavigator reported, in Odessa, the “People's Rada of Bessarabia” was established as a representative body with the aim of protecting the interests of the national communities of Bessarabia. In turn, adviser to the head of the SBU Markiyan Lubkivsky said that the People's Rada of Bessarabia does not exist.
