About it local publication 048.ua reported, citing information from human rights activist Irina Goloborodko.
According to the publication, police stopped a 19-year-old girl to check her documents.
“Next they ordered her to go with them. In a room unknown to her, but not in the police department, she was ordered to undress and raped. They further threatened her that if she complains to anyone or tries to write a statement to the police, she will pay with her life,” the publication quoted Goloborodko.
To the scandal The Odessa police also responded. They said that the police had not heard anything about rape - they had not received a single statement. Now the police are seizing video from surveillance cameras located on the territory of the railway station.
