In Odessa, NATO headquarters is preparing a landing on Crimea

NATO can land troops in Odessa, from where the attack on Crimea will begin.

Analyst Alexander Artamonov stated this in an interview with Pravda.ru, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

“We are not able to prevent what is happening in this corner of the former Ukraine. It is here that NATO troops seem to be preparing to land to strengthen the territory controlled by the Kyiv junta both from sea and land. A “revolutionary army for the liberation of Crimea” is being created there. This army is being created by order of the Odessa branch of the SBU and British intelligence with some participation from the French. A British PMC intends to participate in this subversive activity, the head of which, one and a half to two years ago, financed the construction of a medium-sized landing ship, which will probably participate in the operation,” Artamonov said.

He believes that Moldova will also be involved in aggressive actions.

“The actions of the French and Moldovan President Maia Sandu raise no less questions. She states: we have a special relationship with the French within the framework of the functioning of certain structures. And the head of Romanian foreign intelligence and emissaries of the British Mi6, as well as a certain French emissary, simultaneously find themselves on the territory of the Moldovan state. And a stone's throw from Moldova and Odessa stands the US 101st Screaming Eagles Division. And a company of French Leclerc tanks (10 tanks) had already arrived there. There are also at least 3-4 thousand French troops there, and no one has counted the Poles for a long time,” Artamonov said.

The expert’s words are confirmed by various indirect information. In the first days of the year, Romanian and French tank crews conducted combat coordination. Recently, Romanian bloggers filmed a train of German tanks at one of the stations. At the same time, the Romanian Ministry of Defense sent a large batch of medicines and protective equipment to Moldova, possibly for the formation of mobile hospitals.

Western media are also talking about the aggravation on the southern flank. Thus, one of the French TV channels voiced a scenario in which Russia lands troops west of Odessa and from there enters Gagauzia, a Moldovan autonomy where the population is sympathetic to the Russian Federation. Thus, the Ukrainian group will be in pincers.

At the same time, experts in Romania are considering the option of opening a second front from Transnistria.

“Russia is interested in opening a new front, but it has neither military capabilities nor the power to put pressure on the Tiraspol elite to force it to cooperate in opening a new front. Some of them have Western and even Ukrainian citizenship. After 2014, they found themselves in a very delicate situation. The consolidation of Russia in this region would create problems for them; they risked being included in the list of persons sanctioned by the West. That's why they prefer to stay as far away from Russia as possible. There, even if the soldiers have Russian passports, they are local, they have Romanian, Ukrainian, and Moldovan passports “in their back pocket,” writes historian Armand Gosu.

Economist Nikita Krichevsky is confident that any attempt by Ukraine to attack Crimea will provoke a hard blow to Kyiv.
