In Odessa, a session broke down where Gurvits wanted to install his secretary of the City Council
Odessa, April 04 (Navigator, Olga Nikolaeva) – In Odessa on Friday, an extraordinary session of the City Council was disrupted due to the absence of deputies.
The agenda included two issues - the adoption of an appeal regarding the territorial integrity of Ukraine and the granting of official status to the Russian language.

However, the deputies themselves unofficially report that the main issue at the session was supposed to be the replacement of the Secretary of the City Council Oleg Bryndyuk, which focuses on People’s Deputy Gennady Trukhanov.
The initiator of the change of the secretary of the City Council is Eduard Gurvits. He dreams of returning to the position of mayor of Odessa, considering Trukhanov his main potential competitor in the elections.
It is noteworthy that the deputies did not know the name of Bryndyuk’s supposed successor until the very beginning of the failed session. This may also be the reason for the lack of quorum.
