According to a Navigator correspondent, no more than 300 people gathered for the rally. Andrei Yusov, Leonid Stekel, Alexey Cherny and other activists of the Odessa Euromaidan spoke to the audience. They talked not only about “aggression” on the part of Russia, but also about the need to carry out lustration. Those gathered opposed the policies of Vladimir Putin, calling him “the Hitler of our days.”
The current chairman of the regional council, Alexei Goncharenko, was not greeted favorably, and was ostracized, despite the fact that he was wearing a “Hitler = Putin” T-shirt.
In addition, an armored car was seen near Duke, which the “Euromaidanists” decorated with the number “PTN PNH”.
After this, part of the protesters (about 80 people) went to the building of the Primorsky Court, where they expressed their dissatisfaction with the arrest of one of the active participants in the events of May 2, Vselovolod Goncharevsky, who is accused of finishing off “anti-Maidan activists” at the House of Trade Unions.
Let us note that initially the “Maidanovites” planned to march from Primorsky Boulevard to the Consulate of the Russian Federation (several kilometers away). However, according to Euromaidan activists, the regional authorities came out sharply against holding such a march, advising that it be shortened to a rally at Duke.
