Rolling blackouts in Ukraine continue. Outraged by the lack of light, Odessa residents are preparing to block Academician Filatov Street in the Furniture House area, reports Dumskaya.net.
At the same time, as the publication writes "Timer", around noon on January 1, residents of houses on Akademika Korolev Street, where there had been no electricity for four days, also blocked the road.
According to eyewitnesses, a traffic jam formed in the area of the Kyiv district administration, and traffic was virtually stopped.
In addition, residents of Fontan (some houses in Chernyakhovsky, Tenistaya, Posmitnoye) and Cheryomushki (General Petrov) also celebrated the New Year without light. Citizens sitting without electricity blocked the latter in the area where it intersects with Yitzhak Rabin.
On New Year's Eve, Odessa residents also rallied en masse against the blackouts, organizing a kind of Electromaidan: people lit bonfires and demanded the return of electricity.
