In Odessa, supporters of federalization quoted the leader of Ukrainian nationalists
Odessa, December 21 (PolitNavigator, Viktor Orlov) - The nationalist authorities of Ukraine forget that the idea of federalization of the country, which is now banned, was one of the program points of the idol of independentists, Vyacheslav Chernovol, in the 90s.
This was discussed at a meeting of the Odessa Political Forum, which took place on Saturday, December 21, at the Alexandrovsky Hotel. The event brought together about 70 participants to discuss the further development of Ukraine and the possibility of transitioning to a federal structure of the country, the Novorossiya press center reports.

During the event, deputy of the Odessa City Council Vasily Polishchuk quoted Vyacheslav Chernovol’s statement to the audience: “I think that in the future we will have a federal Ukraine. Many problems will be resolved, as the experience of both the United States and Germany shows.”
Polishchuk also sharply criticized the socio-economic policies of the new Ukrainian authorities. He said: “Today many deserving people receive pensions that are impossible to live on. This is unacceptable".
The guest from Bulgaria, the youth leader of the Attack party Svyatoslav Proinov, urged people not to believe in the myth that EU membership promises an automatic improvement in life. According to him, the level of corruption is still high in Bulgaria, unemployment exceeds 20% (in some regions reaches 50%), Sofia has lost part of its sovereignty and is subject to discrimination from Germany and France.
Proinov also said that federalization will contribute to a more balanced development of Ukraine.
