Dozens of participants of the Russian Spring in Kharkov continue to sit behind bars for more than a year because they cannot raise money to get bail. These funds could easily be collected by calling out on federal TV channels in one of the many talk shows dedicated to Ukraine, says Russian Odessa activist Maria Bilchak.

“Kharkiv political prisoners have been sitting in a pre-trial detention center for a year under investigation. Because there is no money for bail. A person's freedom costs $7000. But every day on Russian TV there are heart-warming talk shows “What’s up with the crests”, which pay for flights and accommodation for participants. But instead of scratching your tongue, you can hold a fundraising marathon.
Damnation as it is,” Bilchak wrote on her social network page.
