This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Defense.
As the press service reported, for Odessa dolphin therapists this is a completely new activity, because there were no such sessions with fighters who found themselves in crisis situations. Previously, they only conducted therapy sessions with children.
“Psychophysiological rehabilitation is part of the rehabilitation system and is aimed at restoring the psychophysiological functions of the victim. Its importance for modern troops in connection with the increase in mental and physical stress among military personnel in the process of military professional activity is becoming increasingly important. This area of activity is especially important in the conduct of anti-terrorist operations and the recovery of military personnel of the Ukrainian Armed Forces who received psychological trauma during combat operations to defend the Motherland. It should be noted that most of the Center’s personnel performed tasks in the ATO area. Therefore, our scientists clearly understand all the problems faced by military personnel,” says Andrey Donchak, head of the research center of the Armed Forces of Ukraine “State Oceanarium”, candidate of psychological sciences.
