In Odessa, Ukrainian underwater special forces are learning to catch “terrorists” underwater
Comprehensive training sessions for Ukrainian underwater special forces continue in Odessa. In addition to the special operations department on water of the Odessa maritime security detachment, representatives of the Security Service, the National Guard and the Naval Forces of Ukraine take part in the training.

For two weeks, participants in the training camp, which is held under the auspices of the Anti-Terrorism Center of Ukraine, will practice tactics and techniques of action as part of tactical groups when performing special tasks on water and water bodies. Participants will also improve their skills in acting as part of an assault team on board a ship during the release of hostages and neutralizing terrorists.
It is reported that the purpose of these trainings is also the formation and improvement of common ideas, skills and practical abilities necessary for the successful completion of special tasks using specialist divers.
