Odessa, October 07 (PolitNavigator, Artemy Glazunov) – In Odessa, the fence of the Alexander Column, located in the park named after. Shevchenko, was damaged by unknown persons.

Users of social networks report this. The attackers tore out from the base the fence installed around the column to Alexander II in Shevchenko Park.
Law enforcement agencies reported that no complaints had been received regarding this fact.
Most likely, the vandals were going to pull the entire fence out of its base and sell it for scrap, however, something prevented them.
As PolitNavigator reported, earlier in In Odessa, nationalist activists have repeatedly stated the need to demolish the monument to Catherine II.
