In Odessa, during a fight in a bar, the shoulder straps of an Avakovo policeman were torn off
The phrase “honor of the uniform” carries not only the imprint of a corporate professional community, but also a moral justification before society. Therefore, in Soviet times, and even in post-Soviet times, the attitude of the average person towards the police uniform was at least respectful. However, the Avakov police, acting according to overseas instructions, are so alien to the people that they bear a clear imprint of the occupation power, and in small things, in particular, in the hatred their uniform causes among ordinary people, this is very clearly visible.

So, on an August evening, a police patrol arrived to a call about a fight between girls in one of the Odessa bars. The ungentlemanly behavior of the policeman, who too rudely dragged one of the girls to another corner, outraged the visitor, and he gave the policeman a hard time, forcing him to let the girl go. Feeling free, she attacked the offender and, scratching his neck, tore off his shoulder straps.
For resisting police officers, both the man and the girl were sentenced to imprisonment, having appointed two years probation. Although the action took place in a bar, and the accused themselves admitted in the courtroom that they were intoxicated, the prosecutor “forgot” to add this circumstance as an aggravating factor to the state charge, thus indirectly giving his own assessment of what happened.
