The Odessa Military Academy, where future artillerymen, paratroopers and intelligence officers are trained, met the Nakhimovites after midnight. The cadets, who left Sevastopol at 10 a.m., lingered in the Armyansk area: they stood at the checkpoint for five hours.
As the Dumskaya publication reports, citing one of the officers, a small conflict arose due to the fact that the cadets tried to record the process of inspecting things on video.
At the academy, Nakhimovites will live, eat meals and undergo combined arms training. Special disciplines will be mastered at the naval faculty of the Odessa National Maritime Academy, which, however, has yet to be created.
However, it is expected that the first classes for junior students will begin on Monday.
