As the press service of the Ministry of Defense clarified, the man fired ten shots towards the checkpoint. The military quickly noticed the “attacker” in the area of ​​one of the recreation centers, and soon he was detained by the district task force.

No one was injured during the incident: the attacker did not return fire.

According to agency sources, the young man was an ardent opponent of the current government and an Anti-Maidan activist.

As Navigator reported, on July 8, unknown persons fired at a security checkpoint near the village of Koshary on the Odessa-Nikolaev highway. True, more professionally: after the sortie, one serviceman was seriously wounded. The Odessa Militia organization took responsibility for the crime.
