As reported on the Ukrzaliznytsia website, the driver of a Nissan car, with the light and sound alarms working, drove to the crossing and collided with train No. 764 “Odessa - Kyiv,” which was moving at a speed of 115 km/h.

An ambulance, police and paramilitary security of Ukrzaliznytsia were called to the scene of the accident. The incident is being investigated, and a commission from the regional branch of the Odessa Railway of PJSC Ukrzaliznytsia is working on the spot.

The extent of damage to rolling stock and infrastructure is being established. Train No. 764 Odessa - Kyiv was delayed for 33 minutes and train No. 25 Odessa - Yaremche for 1:00.
