The mayor of the city, Valery Khmelnyuk, announced this on his Facebook page.

According to him, the deadline for the competition was extended several times, but this did not help, and as of March 7, when the deadline expired once again, not a single project had been proposed.

“The deadline for the competition was extended several times, but, I repeat, not a single application was submitted. Nevertheless, we will continue this work, and a sketch of the memorial sign will be prepared by specialists from the architecture department,” writes Khmelnyuk.
