Odessa, December 13 (PolitNavigator, Victoria Litovchenko) – An unknown man tried to set fire to the building of the Belgorod-Dnestrovsky Distribution Zone.

According to the press service of PJSC Odessaoblenergo, at approximately 01.35, a Molotov cocktail fell in front of the entrance to the administrative building of the Distribution Zone, which caused a fire. A security guard who came out of the building saw a man on the opposite side of the street who threw another bottle of the same type towards the RES building. Seeing the guard, the unknown person disappeared.
The incident was reported to the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the SBU. The police seized a 0,5 liter bottle with liquid residue from the scene, as well as fragments of another bottle. The company does not rule out that the arson attempt is related to the introduction of an emergency shutdown schedule by NEC Ukrenergo due to the need to save electricity.
