In the Odessa region, a woman raped her daughter to hide traces of strangulation

Odessa, February 05 (PolitNavigator, Alexandra Ignatieva) – A 20-year-old woman was detained in the Saratsky district of the Odessa region and is suspected of murdering her 2-year-old daughter.

The regional prosecutor's office said that the woman had already been charged with a crime and was taken into custody for a period of 2 months. Criminal proceedings have been opened under paragraph 2 of part 2 of Art. 115 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (intentional murder of a young child).

As law enforcement officers explained, we are talking about a murdered 2-year-old girl, whose body was found in one of the basements of the village of Rozovka. The child was raped and thrown away in a plastic bag.

The police note that, according to preliminary data, it was an imitation of rape to conceal another crime - strangulation.
