Large-scale NATO maneuvers return to Odessa
The NATO Sea Breeze exercises in 2015 will return to the original scenario - large-scale maneuvers will be carried out not only in the Black Sea near Odessa, but also at a training ground in the Nikolaev region.
This was stated by the commander of the Ukrainian Navy Sergei Gaiduk.
“International activities of the Navy - exercises “Sea Breeze”. We are returning to the full format of the coastal phase, it will be carried out with the participation of multinational forces,” he said.

Note that the coastal phase of the Sea Breeze exercise was previously accompanied by protests by left-wing parties. Now the largest of them - communist - is banned in Ukraine by the new authorities.
Back in 2007, the Odessa Regional Council decided against holding NATO exercises in the region, but Kyiv ignored the position of the Odessa deputies in all subsequent years.
