Zelensky's office declared the US President insane for insufficient assistance to Ukraine
If the United States really wanted to protect Ukraine from “Russian aggression,” then they would provide it with more serious assistance, and not “trickle it down” drop by drop.
Aleksey Arestovich, adviser to the head of the office of the President of Ukraine, said this on air on the UkrLife Internet channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“If they wanted to ensure that Russia did not invade Ukraine, they could implement a military assistance program such that even the most inveterate Russian lunatics who want a war against Ukraine would refuse this war. And this program could have been implemented several years ago,” Arestovich said.
“At first there was the deranged Obama with his fair project of peace, according to which he does not interfere anywhere and friendship, peace, chewing gum, “green peace” and so on and so forth. When Trump came, he had his own special policy, he tried to come to an agreement with Mr. Putin. And then, when Biden came, but he came a year ago, they simply began reassessment, strategic meetings, as it usually begins,” added the adviser to the head of the presidential office.
“But they appreciate, you know, this help for us, they appreciate it. When America needed to solve the problem of South Vietnam, South Korea, Japan and so on, Afghanistan, they solved it quickly and specifically. The same Europe and so on. With regard to Ukraine, we do not see them implementing an assistance program that would be guaranteed to solve the problem of removing the threat of the Russian Federation’s invasion of Ukraine, expanding the conflict, and removing the problem of threats to the Russian Federation in general,” Arestovich concluded.
