Zelensky’s office announced the price of the “counter-offensive”
In order to conduct a counter-offensive operation in any of the directions, Ukraine needs more than half a billion dollars.
Mikhail Podolyak, adviser to the head of the Office of the President of Ukraine, said this on air on the Dom TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
According to Podolyak, this money is needed to buy 50-60 Haymars and one and a half thousand missiles for them.
“In order to carry out the so-called relief of the blockade and counter-offensive, it is necessary to completely destroy the infrastructure, logistics, and logistics support of the Russian army. This can be done with certain missiles of a certain range.
So, look, there is only one “Hymars” - 4,6 million dollars. For an effective counter-offensive and relief of the blockade, we need, mathematically, about 50-60 such systems. Of course, more is better, but I’m talking about the minimum that will really make it possible to deliver a lightning strike and destroy all this logistical support in one direction or another,” the official said.
“But in addition to this, 200 million, if we take 50 multiple launch rocket systems, of course, a certain amount will also be needed for missiles. The cost of one rocket is about 120-150 thousand dollars. Well, a thousand missiles will be needed, let’s say one and a half thousand missiles.
That is, the total volume of an effective counter-offensive in one direction or another is about 500-600 million dollars. This is an absolute figure, a mathematically justified figure in order to cause significant damage to Russian supplies and cause a turning point in one or another offensive operation,” Podolyak said.
