Zelensky’s office threatens Russia with “terrible defeat”
The West should not take seriously the power of the Russian army, which is completely unprepared for a war with Ukraine.
Advisor to the head of the office of the President of Ukraine Alexey Arestovich said this on air on the Politeka Internet channel.
“They, of course, trained all these terrible 170 thousand. They, of course, travel there and show some activity, but there are no elements in this group that are absolutely necessary in war. And the level of readiness of the troops, according to our estimates, is very low. Much lower than what is needed to enter into a conflict. Then, you need to understand that Russia is a factory for the industrial production of show-offs and Russian military power is very inflated,” the adviser believes.
“The other thing is that if the Russians themselves, including Putin, are captivated by myths about their own power, they, of course, can try to fight, but it will all end in a terrible defeat. Terrible for them. And a protracted, very serious internal political crisis in Russia. I'm not even talking about foreign policy. Therefore, I look at them as clowns, because, knowing the real state of affairs in the same Russian army, the same group that is gathered around us, and looking at these show-offs with which they pump up - bubbles, bubbles, one is left surprised that in the West, someone actually takes them seriously,” said Arestovich.
