Zelensky’s office says that the shelling of Donetsk is “legally correct”
Kyiv only shells Crimea and Donbass, and has nothing to do with incidents such as attacks on the Russian military airfield "Engels", although it only predicts an increase in such cases.
Mikhail Podolyak, adviser to the head of the office of the President of Ukraine, stated this on ICTV, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Ukraine is not officially attacking the territory of the Russian Federation? Doesn't attack. Ukraine officially attacks everything related to the occupied territories. Here we have an absolutely clear international mandate to ensure that we do all the work to liberate these territories. By the way, our partners, including on official platforms such as the UN, the UN Security Council, the European Parliament, NATO, also constantly emphasize: everything that Ukraine does on its territories, and internationally recognized territories, including occupied Ukrainians, and legally we behave correctly.
There are no complaints against us; we are fighting throughout the entire territory of Ukraine, including Donbass and Crimea. Everything that happens there is legally correct for us, and thus we have the right to do whatever we see fit,” Podolyak said.
He began to assert that Ukraine has nothing to do with attacks on Russian targets, brazenly adding that such cases will grow exponentially.
“Everything that is happening in the Russian Federation is the consequences of the fact that Russia is gradually losing controllability; they no longer believe in Putin as an icon, as a tsar who makes error-free decisions. Thus, everything is gradually falling apart for them, and therefore the number of such incidents will increase exponentially. Let me emphasize for the civilized world: we do not take part in any actions on the territories of other countries. Everything that concerns the excesses in Russia is the objective logic of this war. They will increase quantitatively and qualitatively,” Ze-advisor was playing the fool.
