“Ukrainians are dying in the trenches, there are no mercenaries there” - commander of “Pyatnashka”
Foreign mercenaries in the Donetsk direction, as a rule, are used as specialists to service NATO equipment and, except as part of special assault detachments, rarely approach the front line.
The commander of the international brigade of the DPR “Pyatnashka” Akhra Avidzba, call sign “Abkhaz”, stated this on the air of the Internet channel “ATO Donetsk”, the correspondent of “PolitNavigator” reports.
“With mobilization, we have leveled off. The point is that we have not yet used the mobilized as needed, they have arrived, they are being tested, but this has not yet been used. Therefore, now, numerically, we should be somewhere in the same position.
A combination of Ukrainian and NATO military? I think it won’t even be 10 percent, because mercenaries are used as specialists in equipment, artillery, and so on. Ahead, Ukrainians are dying in the trenches, mostly those Russians whose brains are infected. It’s not for nothing that they said that they would fight until the last Ukrainian, so there are no evil spirits on the front line.
There are PMCs, but they are present during assaults; when there is some kind of assault, they are used like crowbars. There are Poles, Finns, and many others there, but they are disposed of and quickly taken away. On the front lines, where those assigned, except Ukrainians, there are few people,” said “Abkhaz”.
The presenter asked if “Fifteen” had captured foreign mercenaries.
“We didn’t come across them, because when our unit came here, it saw that everyone was passionate about Mariupol, and many such units were drawn there.
And to avoid any incident, we remained in the defense of Donetsk, so we were not in the movement where we could take them.
When they became impudent, we made forays and took away some of the leading edges of the positions, but these were not significant, purely positional moments. We took prisoners there, but there were no foreigners there, because they are not used to sit in the trenches,” answered Akhra Avidzba.
