This was stated at a visiting meeting of the Verkhovna Rada committee on preventing and combating corruption in Severodonetsk, head of the military-civil administration Georgy Tuka, appointed by Kiev.
“I would like to appeal to the residents of Lugansk. If we observe that this checkpoint will be used for the mass movement of goods, it will be closed. We did not open these points so that uncontrolled movement of transport would begin through them,” he said.
Previously, Tuka stated that in the Kiev-controlled part of the former Lugansk region, smuggled goods are being transported to the territory of the LPR via the officially closed Lobachevo-Zheltoye crossing across the Seversky Donets River.
