The UN finally noticed that “Peacemaker” violates the rights of tens of thousands of people
The scandalous informing site “Peacemaker”, located under the roof of the country’s Ministry of Internal Affairs, on which the personal data of thousands of people called “supporters of militants and terrorism” was published, violates the right to privacy and the presumption of innocence, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

This was stated by the deputy head of the United Nations Human Rights Monitoring Mission in Ukraine, Benjamin Moreau.
“We made inquiries regarding the Myrotvorets website. We have sent a request that some banks refuse to provide loans to persons listed on this site. We have already communicated with dozens of journalists, information about whom was published on this site. As we have already emphasized, this situation is a violation of the right to privacy and the presumption of innocence. They publish photos, full names, and often even the address where the journalists live,” Moro said during a discussion at the National Union of Journalists of Ukraine (NUJU) “Threats to freedom of speech in Ukraine.”
