OHCHR expressed concern that this “practice may continue and the number of people detained on the same charges may increase.”
Let us recall that earlier international human rights organizations and even the US State Department criticized Ukraine for torture in the secret prisons of the SBU, as well as arbitrariness and violence against civilians by nationalist volunteer battalions.
