Unlike Ukraine, the LPR will not carry out forced mobilization
In the Lugansk People's Republic, mobilization into the armed forces is and will remain exclusively on a voluntary basis, unlike Ukraine, where it is still forced to this day.

The head of the LPR, Igor Plotnitsky, stated this during a meeting with participants of the Young Guard forum, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Let's take into account the realities of today. The existing regulations and decrees of the head, which provide for mobilization into the armed forces, are sufficient. But since 2014, from the very moment the national liberation battalion “Zarya” was created, the principle of voluntary participation of precisely those people who want to defend their country and their native land has been used. Taking into account the fact that Ukrainian troops are ready to go on the offensive at any moment, it seems to me that we will leave this very principle of volunteers. In addition, making an official call requires certain financial costs - barracks, financial support for military personnel, and much more.
Today we are not yet ready for such an event, especially since we are still in martial law. Although I know that our military always say: “Give only the order and funding, we will do everything.” But I think that for now we will make do with volunteers,” said Plotnitsky.
