In Paris and Berlin, there is a growing understanding of the harmfulness of Petro Poroshenko’s course of sabotaging the Minsk agreements. Russia's permanent representative to the EU, Vladimir Chizhov, stated this in an interview with Izvestia.

“I am sure that both in Berlin and Paris there is a growing understanding of the disastrous course of the current Kyiv authorities. And not only in terms of the events in Donbass, but also in terms of the implementation of economic and other reforms, the implementation of which the same West made a condition for providing financial and other support to the current Ukrainian government.
The recent joint trip of the foreign ministers of France and Germany to the part of Donbass controlled by the Ukrainian authorities showed that they are not blind - they see a lot,” the diplomat said.
“The pace of implementation of the Minsk agreements is, of course, unsatisfactory. This is recognized by everyone. There are different assessments as to who is to blame for this. Naturally, we explain to our partners, including those in the European Union, that the main responsibility for the current situation lies with the Kiev leadership.
But at the same time, the Minsk agreements remain the only basis for political efforts to resolve the internal Ukrainian crisis. Neither France and Germany, nor anyone else questions this conclusion,” Chizhov clarified.
